Quality

• Settings → Video → Quality: Lowest latency for fast games, Best picture for slow ones.
• Sharp text keeps small coloured text crisp on the desktop (HEVC 4:4:4; with AV1 it raises the bitrate instead).
• AV1 needs an NVIDIA RTX 40 card or newer and a Mac that decodes it; otherwise HEVC is used.

Resolution and frame rate

The PC's virtual display matches your Mac's screen and refresh rate. Lower the frame rate in Settings → Video for Wi-Fi.

Sound

• Settings → Audio: stereo, 5.1 or 7.1. AirPods play surround around you.
• The PC's own volume is in Settings → Audio and on the PC page.
